    The value of the moorland as an important natural resource and the impact it has on landscape and local livelihoods, as well as tourism and trade is demonstrated in this DVD. It also illustrates the importance of shooting and its relationship to the sustainable management of the moorland environment.

  • The Keeper (DVD)

    In this award winning DVD, Adam - who is lost on the moors after becoming separated from his school party - meets Fred, the gamekeeper. On the way back to the minibus Fred teaches him about the moorland – the landscape, the wildlife it supports, the bird species which need protecting, the importance of sustainable management and the need to maintain a natural balance.

  • The National Gamekeepers Organisation have produced an educational CD which includes input from the Moorland Association and is titled "Gamekeepers' Role in Heather Moorland Management" which can be used as a template for talks
