Countryside Rights of Way Act 2000; Section 23 Dog Restrictions - Sign Guidance

i) This sign is only to be used on CROW access land where s23 dog exclusions are currently in force, and is removed as soon as such exclusions cease; and

ii) The sign is not placed directly on public rights of way, and where it is used adjacent to public rights of way (typically because the right of way provides the access to the CROW access land), the sign is sited and positioned in such a way as to minimise the risk of misleading the public into thinking that dogs are excluded from the public right of way.
