 The Moorland Association banner shared a prominent role with those of other countryside organisations at the head of the Countryside March on 22nd September 2002. Carried by the Chairman, Simon Bostock, Committee Member, George Winn-Darley, and their families and members of Andrew Sutcliff's family, the banner was much in evidence among the march leaders. The picture shows the banner party, ready for the start, and clearly enjoying the atmosphere of an historic occasion. |
